Lavender Sessions – July 13, 2025 | 5–9 PM

All time slots for this year’s Lavender Sessions have been filled — thank you for the overwhelming support! If you'd still like a chance to attend, you can join the waitlist below. If any cancellations come up, I’ll reach out in the order names were received.

This is the second year running this initiative. In 2024, we raised $765 for the London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC) — a powerful reminder of what community and creativity can do together.

These outdoor, pay-what-you-can sessions will be held at Bayfield Lavender Farm, with 100% of proceeds supporting women and girls in our community who have experienced abuse and exploitation.

Whether you were hoping to join solo, with a partner, or as a group of friends, thank you for showing interest in capturing something meaningful while giving back.

You can still browse the FAQ, Cancellation Policy, and Terms & Conditions below to learn more about the sessions.

Let’s keep making a difference — together.

  • 📍 Where is the lavender farm?
The sessions will take place at 77881 Porters Hill Line, surrounded by beautiful lavender fields.

💸 How much should I donate?
These are pay-what-you-can sessions. My regular 30-minute sessions start at $165, but for this event, you can contribute whatever is manageable for you. Every dollar goes toward supporting women in our community who have experienced violence.

📷 What will the photos look like?
The sessions are relaxed, candid, and take place in a beautiful outdoor lavender field during golden hour. Expect warm, natural light and soft, dreamy tones. You can check out photos from last year’s Lavender Sessions in my portfolio to get a feel for the style

📷 What’s included in the session?
Each session is 15 minutes, and you’ll receive a set of professionally edited, high-resolution images via digital download within 2–3 weeks after the shoot.

👫 Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely — sessions can be for individuals, couples, or small groups (like friends or family). Just note the number of people in the booking form.

🐾 Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the lavender farm for these sessions.

    🎒 What should I wear?
Soft, neutral tones (like beige, cream, or light blues) look beautiful with the lavender. Avoid bright/neon colours or bold logos. Dress in something that feels comfortable and authentic to you.

    🌧 What if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, I’ll reach out with a rescheduled date or alternative option.

    💰 How do I pay?
Donations are accepted via e-transfer or cash on the day of your session. Full details will be included in your confirmation email.

🕒 Can I book more than one time slot?
Please only book one timeslot. If you’d like extra time or have a larger group, reach out before booking and I’ll try to accommodate!

  • Please be mindful when booking your Session. Last year, we had several last-minute cancellations — and while life happens, it really throws off the flow of the day. These sessions are short, donation-based, and time-limited. When someone cancels last minute (or doesn’t show up), it’s nearly impossible to fill the spot, and that means less money raised and more disruption for everyone involved — especially the other photographers donating their time.

If something comes up and you need to cancel, please give me much notice as possible so we can try to fill your spot. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference. Thanks for understanding and respecting the time and energy that goes into making this day run smoothly.

  • By booking a Session, you agree to the following:

    📸 Photo Usage
Photos taken during the session may be shared publicly on social media, my website, and promotional materials. These sessions help raise awareness and support for an important cause, and showcasing the images is a big part of that. If you’re uncomfortable with your photos being shared, please let me know in advance.

    ✂️ Editing & Modifications
Please do not alter or apply filters to the final edited images. The photos you receive reflect the creative vision and work of the photographers involved. If you need anything adjusted, feel free to reach out instead.

    📷 Credit
When sharing your images online, please tag or credit the photographer. It’s a small gesture that goes a long way in supporting our work.

    ⚠️ Liability
By participating, you agree that neither the organizers nor photographers are responsible for any injuries, allergic reactions, or incidents that may occur on-site. Please be mindful of uneven terrain, weather, and your personal comfort and safety during the session.
